Kayce Cook

Dr. Kayce Cook brings more than 20 years of experience spanning classroom instruction, district-level coordination and program management, and state-level leadership. As Director of the Office of Career Readiness at the South Carolina Department of Education, she leads statewide efforts to align K-12 and adult education programs with the evolving needs of workforce and post-secondary institutions. Her work focuses on improving internal systems, modernizing career pathways, expanding access to high-quality career connected education and high-value credentials, and strengthening partnerships between education, business, and industry.
